Kim Minsong's work portrays a dreamlike landscape, evoking a deep night's dream. This was inspired by a trip she took to Morocco after her graduation, during which she discovered a desert flower called “Lupinus” and thought it, which glows in the desert, was very much like her — warm and lonely.

The artist depicts a scene filled with exotic, mysterious plants beneath a pouring starlight. The darkness in her works does not appear frightening but relatively warm. Memories fade in the bright light but shimmer in the darkness. The artist explains that these memories sustain us — and that this is art.
