Art SoHyang Singapore is pleased to present 《Absence of Ego》, a solo exhibition by Soonik KWON (b. 1959), from October 15 to November 8, 2026.
Based in Seoul, South Korea, KWON works across painting and installation, using mixed media such as fine sands, charcoal, and acrylic colours to build subtle surfaces and oriental textures. KWON's main inspiration is his calm, ego-free process of making art through his choices of delicate light and colour. He graduated in Fine Arts from Sejong University and has since shown his mixed-media works in more than 30 solo exhibitions and over 50 group exhibitions, including numerous local and international shows, mainly across North and South America and Europe.
