The 11th Art Busan will be held at BEXCO in Busan until the 15th, starting with VIP preview on May 12th. Following the largest sales (35 billion won) and the largest number of visitors (8,000 visitors) in the domestic art market last year, galleries' interest in Art Busan remained hot. Only 125 galleries were confirmed to participate through the rigorous screening of Art Busan amid fierce competition. Taddaeus Robac, a major European gallery, opened a local branch in October with the participation of Art Busan. Expectations are already high on how Art Busan will affect the domestic art market this year.
